Rates are non-commissionable; net to publisher and for consecutive schedules only.
Alternate Week Rates
The following options are available to advertisers wishing to place their ad on an every-other-week or once-per-month basis:
1. 13 ads run every other week will earn the eight-time insertion rate.
2. 26 ads run every other week will earn the thirteen-time insertion rate.
3. 13 ads run once per month will earn the four-time insertion rate.
Color
Spot color and 4-color process are available on certain pages at a cost of $99 per color. Full color ads are $297 plus space costs. Advertisers wanting spot color for their ad may request a specific color, but will receive a color based upon availability. Specific color requirements can be accommodated for a slightly higher cost and will be quoted individually. Advertisers wanting 4-color process for their ad must supply separations or incur additional charges. Charges for color are not subject to camera-ready, agency or non-profit discounts.
Pre-Printed Inserts
Boulder Weekly accepts pre-printed inserts or will produce them at a fee to be quoted on a job-by-job basis. Zoned distribution is available. Quotations based upon size and shape of the piece will be supplied upon request.
Discounts
A 10% discount will be given to advertisers or agencies submitting camera-ready ads which comply with Boulder Weekly's mechanical requirements. In the event that an ad is submitted which does not meet our specifications, the discount will not be allowed. Registered non profits will receive the 13x rates. None of the discounts mentioned in this section can be combined, and none are earned unless payment is received by Boulder Weekly within the agreed-upon terms; late payment will result in any discount being rescinded.
Position
Reasonable requests for position will be accommodated whenever possible. However, position cannot be guaranteed without a premium of 15% being added to the applicable space rate, with a minimum charge of $50. Charges for position are not subject to camera-ready, agency or non-profit discounts.
Classified Advertising
Classified and Classified Display advertising are available in Boulder Weekly. Rates and information will be supplied upon request.
