Vote 2002
Nancy Bourgeois (R) is a technical systems analyst who's running for her first public office. She holds a bachelor's degree in computing and information systems from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She wants to "serve as a voice for working families to ensure that their incomes are protected from excessive mill levies imposed by the County Commissioners." Ken Bray (L) says "No one likes the tax man," and he is morally opposed to the concept of taxing property ownership. "I will work to expose the fraud that is the property tax, as well as reduce it in the meantime." Bray says he will value homes at the lowest value allowed by current regulation in order to reduce tax burdens Respond: letters@boulderweekly.com
